PENNSYLVANIA AIR NATIONAL GUARD SEEKS PUBLIC COMMENT ON THE COMPREHENSIVE SITE EVAULUATION PHASE II MUNITIONS RESPONSE SITE PRIORITIZATION PROTOCOL The Pennsylvania Air National Guard (PAANG) at Pennsylvania Air National Guard Base Pittsburgh International Airport (Pittsburgh ANGB) announces the start of a public comment period to review the Comprehensive Site Evaluation (CSE) Phase II Munitions Response Site Prioritization Protocol (MRSPP) for one munitions response site (MRS). Former Small Arms Range (SR890). The MRSPP tables were prepared to address requirements of the Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP). The MMRP is a component of the Defense Environmental Restoration Program that provides a comprehensive investigation of former military munitions ranges. The CSE Phase II evaluation included identifying the types of munitions that may potentially be present, assessing current and future land uses, determining ease of access, and quantifying the number of people with access. In accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 32, Part 179 requirements, the public is invited to review and comment on the MRSPP. A copy of the MRSPP from the CSE Phase II Report has been added to the Administrative Record at Moon Township Public Library for a 30-day public comment period. The PAANG will welcome all written comments on the MRSPP by e-mail or postal mail. The formal public comment period begins on April 5, 2015 and ends on May 4, 2015. All comments must include the commenter's name, address, and telephone number.
