INSPECTION SUPPORT AND MPT SERVICES FOR STRUCTURAL INSPECTION OF SR 2030 MOUNTVILLE ROAD BRIDGE LOCATED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Mackin Engineering Company, Inc. has been contracted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to perform an in-depth inspection of the steel through-truss and substructure for the Mountville Road Bridge. The inspection will be scheduled for April 2015 (tentative start date is April 6, 2015). Mackin Engineering Company will require a Contractor to provide inspection support services including an under bridge inspection crane, a 35-foot reach bucket truck, maintenance & protection of traffic (MPT) during inspection, and concrete coring, steel coupon removal, and testing services. Mackin will receive separate sealed bids from qualified Contractors for the inspection support services, testing, and MPT services until 10:00 AM, March 16, 2015 in Mackin Engineering Company's Pittsburgh Office located at RIDC Park West, 117 Industry Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa 15275. Complete bid packages may be obtained from Brad Miller of Mackin Engineering Company at the same address or by calling (412) 788-0472 between the hours of 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM. The Contractor must provide evidence of at least 10 years of experience in providing MPT services on PennDOT projects of similar size and complexity for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and references (including contact person and phone number) from previous projects. The Contractor must provide MPT in strict accordance with PennDOT Publication 212/213. Bids will be opened March 16, 2015. Mackin Engineering Company will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. Mackin Engineering Company reserves the right to reject any or all bids deemed not in conformance with the bid requirements.
