O F F I C I A L MT. LEBANON, PENNSYLVANIA The Zoning Hearing Board of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania will hold a public hearing in the Commission Chambers of the Mt. Lebanon Municipal Building, 710 Washington Road on Thursday evening, December 11, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., (prevailing time). APPEAL NO. 1711 OWNER: Simmonds Family Limited, 140 East 19th Avenue Suite #300, Denver, CO 80203 APPELLANT: Brad Petro, 4330 North Bend Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 44005 LOCATION: 1541 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228 The appellant is requesting a variance as provide for in Ordinance No. 2636, Chapter XX, for the following Zoning Code sections: §823.5.3.2.2 The maximum height of a letter, symbol or number shall be eighteen (18) inches. §823.5.3.2.3.1 For each first floor storefront having a display window facing a Street and having access to that Street, a maximum of one (1) square foot of Sign Area shall be permitted on the front facade for each linear foot of interior width of such storefront, provided that no sign shall exceed fifty (50) square feet in area. §823.5.3.2.3.5 No Building wall shall be used for the display of advertising, unless the sign message pertains to a use carried on within such Building. No Building Sign shall be authorized on a facade that does not face a Street. The appellant is requesting the variances for the following proposed signage (1) one additional sign on the left or North side of the building that faces a parking lot & entrance. Additional graphic displays on the front or West side of the building that exceed the maximum size permitted. The property is zoned C-2 Community Commercial District MT.
