NOTICE BOROUGH OF DORMONT The Council of the Borough of Dormont will hold a public meeting to consider adoption of an Ordinance levying an ad valorum real estate tax for fiscal year 2015, said meeting to be held at the Dormont Municipal Center, 1444 Hillsdale Avenue, Dormont, Pennsylvania, on the 1st day of December, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. The title and a summary of the Ordinance follows: Title AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF DORMONT, COUNTY OF ALLEGHENY, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, LEVYING AN AD VALORUM REAL ESTATE TAX AND FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2015. Summary The proposed Ordinance shall set a methodology for the adoption of the 2015 millage rate for ad valorum real estate taxes and fixing the tax rate for the fiscal year 2015, consistent with Pennsylvania law. A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be examined in the office of the Borough Manager at the municipal building during normal business hours. In addition, the proposed 2015 Budget for the Borough of Dormont will be available for public inspection and review beginning Monday, November 17, 2014 through the meeting date noted above. Copies are available at the Borough Offices located in the Dormont Municipal Center at 1444 Hillsdale Avenue, Dormont, PA 15216, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. and at the Dormont Public Library during their normal business hours as well as on the Borough's website at www.boro.dormont.pa.us.
