OFFICIAL BID NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER ST. CLAIR Sealed Bids will be received by the Township of Upper St. Clair, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania until 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2014, and the BIDS will be publicly opened and read thereafter in the Commissioners' Meeting Room in the Township Building at the same address for the following: SANITARY SEWER VIDEO INSPECTION Bids from pre-qualified contractors must be sealed and addressed to Matthew R. Serakowski, Township Manager, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 and must indicate on the outside of the envelope "2015 SANITARY SEWER VIDEO INSPECTION PROJECT", before 9:00 A.M. prevailing time, November 18, 2014 and the same will be publicly opened and read at that time. In accordance with Chapter 25 of the Township Code, all bidders must be pre-qualified by calling Debbi Yelich @ 412.831.9000 x 217. The deadline for pre-qualification is Monday, November 10, 2014 by 3:30 P.M. Copies of Drawings, Specifications, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Forms of Bids and Agreement are available at the Public Works Building at 1751 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241. Please call 412.831.9000 x 217 to schedule pickup of specifications. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workers' Compensation, must be filed with the executed Agreement. Bids to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Township of Upper St. Clair in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. Contracts are subject to prevailing wage requirements. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicality or formality therein. All Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Township of Upper St. Clair prior to receiving a copy of the project specifications. If more time is necessary for the ascertainment of the lowest responsible bidder, the Township reserves the right to award the contract at a later date, but not exceeding sixty (60) days from the date bids were submitted, and such date will be publicly announced immediately after the bids are opened.
